Sexual Assault Support Service Canterbury (SASSC)

This is Canterbury’s Sexual Violence Crisis Service. It runs 24 hours a day 7 days a week and is managed by Aviva in collaboration with START.

SASSC services are for men and women with more urgent concerns about sexual assaults/abuse.

• SASSC is able to support people when making Police Statements
• attending the DSAC Medical rooms
• through the Court Process.

SASSC refers people on to START and other relevant services when on-going support is required.
